The event brings together a range of partner organisations including frontline NHS staff and Ashford Borough Council officers, outreach organisations and charities, in one easy-to-access place.
As we move into autumn it’s a perfect time to boost your health and wellbeing. The roadshow offers information from many different services and it could just provide the perfect opportunity for you to get a free health check or find out more about the offer of the One You Shop in Ashford.
Come along for advice and information from local services who will be there to support you, your loved ones and help you to potentially save money. It’s free to attend and is open to all, simply pop along for all this and more:
- Guidance on shopping, preparing and cooking healthy, nutritious meals
- Information on where and how to access local food banks along with community venues who offer free, pay as you feel or very reasonably priced meals in a social setting
- Recipe bags with all ingredients to make a recipe along with instructions
- Fare Share Kent Family Food Bank food items including fresh fruit and vegetables
