CALLING ALL 5 TO 11 YEAR OLDS!
Do you like spending time in Victoria Park? YES/NO
Do you hate litter? YES/NO
Do you like to see the park nice and clean? YES/NO
If your answers are YES (of course they are), then the Friends of Victoria Park would like you to get out your pens, crayons and paints and come up with a fabulous poster (A4 paper size) that aims to get people who come to the park not to leave litter in it.
There are prizes for the best three designs of £15, £10 and £5 Amazon vouchers and the winning posters will be printed and displayed in Victoria Park.
To enter this competition please ask your parent/guardian to complete the entry form (https://victoriaparkashford.uk), and attach a scan or photo of your poster to a reply to the email that is sent (keep the original safe as we may need it if your poster is judged in the top three). If you cannot send an image complete the form and deliver the entry to the address given in the response email with a note of the your name and your parent’s contact details.

The competition is open to children, whose permanent residence is within the Borough of Ashford and who are between the ages of 5 years and 11 years on 1st September 2022.
The poster can be produced in any medium but should be easily reproduceable and should be attractive and eye-catching.
Plagiarised or close-copied work is not permitted
Pieces of work that are part of a current educational exam portfolio are not eligible for the competition.
Technical merit; content, composition; imagination and style and the age of the contestant will be considered when judging the competition.
Copyright in all entries remains with the contestant but, by entering, unlimited, free license is granted to the Friends of Victoria Park to reproduce all entries in any medium and through any channel.
We would like to publish the full name, age and a photograph of the contestants submitting the top three entries on our website and social media channels and submit copies to the local news media for publication. We accept that circumstances may prevent this and will not decline an entry because the contestant’s details cannot be published.
